After the May 7th Istanbul Demonstration

Our team, striving to produce professional results under the conditions of our country with an amateur spirit, literally rocked Kadıköy on May 5th. Our performance artists, performing for the first time, delivered fantastic shows despite their nervousness.

The X-cross and whips we specially prepared for tonight were the highlight of the evening. Our audience showed great interest in the X-cross and whips that were on stage throughout the performances. Those who wanted to try them were individually invited onto the stage and given the chance to try them out in a safe area. The queue that formed at the entrance until the doors opened at 8 PM caused minor crowds both at the venue and while we were letting the audience in. We apologize to everyone for this.

Lena and Freya, who performed with a "Swan Lake" theme, Irmak and Beatrice, who worked tirelessly to prepare, our diva Janet and her team, who took the stage with a small army, and Anon and Lena, who blew our minds with their closing show, were all fantastic. As always, our microphone was with our dear Çağdaş.

We owe a debt of gratitude to all our performance artists for making us proud once again, to all our audience for not leaving us alone, and to everyone who contributed their hard work, from our security guards and ticket office staff to our photographers, makeup artists, sound and lighting crew, and venue employees. Thank you for being there, thank you for being a part of us.

  1. Ön taraflar haricinde zor görünüyordu. Mevcut mekan bu gösteri için ergonomik değil. Ora daha çok duyma duyusu ile ilgili eventler için tasarlanmış duruyor. Vizüel gösterilerde hele de over katılım olduğunda; katılımcıların %50 si performansı kaçırıyor. Teşekkürler

    1. Thank you for your comment. We have been searching for a suitable venue for a long time. Unfortunately, we haven't been successful in finding a place that is both safe and can be isolated from other parts of the venue with its bar and event space. Our search and efforts to develop such a place continue.

  2. This was my first time attending one of your events, and although watching was a little difficult due to the venue, it was a fantastic night. I don't think I'll miss any of your upcoming events.

  3. First of all, I want to give a huge round of applause and thanks to this team who have worked hard to develop this subculture, who have gone the extra mile to create a safe space, who communicate with everyone, and who are mindful of sensitivities. These events, truly created with an amateur spirit but improving in terms of content and organization each time, provide a breath of fresh air and enjoyment for everyone involved in, or wanting to be involved in, this community. As mentioned, finding suitable venues for these indoor events is indeed difficult, I understand that. We get tired from standing for long periods while watching, but at the same time, we can easily interact with the participants and performers. I'm sure we'll see more comfortable shows in more suitable venues, but until then, keeping this flame burning through mutual sacrifice seems to be to everyone's advantage. I hope to see even more enjoyable shows in a much more comfortable and less pressured setting. Kudos to everyone involved.

  4. The event was very successful. As one friend mentioned, the difficulty of seeing from the back was a bit annoying. Other than that, I had a lot of fun, especially the after-event part. I'm sorry for those who couldn't make it, see you at many more to come! :)
