Frequently Asked Questions

I don't have any experience with Shibari/Kinbaku or I'm not sure if I'm suitable to engage in it.

No problem. Both inexperienced and experienced people can experience this. We think that it should always be fun to let go of control for a while in a safe environment and wander around the edge of a new experience. That's why we prepare all the variables in the environment such as music, smell, and temperature to make you feel comfortable. Apart from all these, we decide together what we can do to make this time most productive and enjoyable for you. We are aware of the constructive power of establishing clear and open communication and we try to use it.

We welcome people of all ages, religions, races, genders and body types, over the age of 18. The most important prerequisite is that you have a positive motivation to do so.

Depending on who you ask, the answer will vary greatly! It also depends a lot on how and why the connection was made, your mood, and your feelings that day.

Shibari / Kinbaku can be much more than sensual and relaxing bondage, focusing on the touch of rope and hands. Its painful and intensely restrictive and static scenes can require a lot of stamina from the person being tied, or it can be done for purely meditative purposes. Many people experience the bondage of being tied, either mentally or physically, or both!

When it comes to widespread suspension, there will be at least some physical intensity and even pain! However, when it is painful, the sensations felt and other perceptions are much different.

Unlike some western forms of bondage which are performed with soft ropes (nylon-cotton), traditional Japanese Shibari / In the art of kinbaku the ropes are harder and tighter (jute) and when under tension it creates a certain tightness sensation. However, when the knots are loosened, a great relief is usually felt.

We start with a half hour tea/coffee chat where we talk about past traumas, limits, risks and expectations. We check your nervous and muscular systems against risks and then decide together what form we will use and calculate the stage duration. We have a song that you want to play during the stage. Play If there are any objects on your list or in the environment that you would like to have or not have, we decide on these through discussion.

It can usually take 2-3 hours. Since we cannot predict how long it will take to determine limits, transfer risks, etc. in the first stage, this period can be extended or shortened in direct proportion to the satisfaction of the parties and the answers to their questions. We also care that this period of time is an icebreaker.

The bonding stage can last between 30-60 minutes depending on the energy and natural functioning. Although being longer does not mean that it will be a more satisfying scene, we aim for it to be a deep and unique experience within the specified limits.

Last episode aftercare (aftercare) as well as a cuddle or a relaxation phase that will make you feel better. This phase is also a space where you can share your experience and how you feel.

Sometimes people may not be able to get rid of their experiences for a while and may feel intense emotions. During this process, we will be with you in the mental processes that need to be followed and with information.
