A Photo Project: “Compromise”

Reconciliation will be a collective project we initiated to demonstrate that shibari, which is accepted as part of BDSM practices, can also be used as a performance art. We hope this project, which aims to counter the notion that shibari is solely associated with eroticism and sexual activity, will be realized only through the participation and production of volunteers.

We hope to complete the project with our own resources, without forcing anything, and without resorting to new forms of consumption. In this sense, expressing ourselves and shibari on a social level and conveying it to a wide audience through an art form emerges as the most appropriate method for achieving our goal of "visibility." We decided that photography is the most suitable instrument for this.

Our greatest desire is to hold a photography exhibition featuring the works selected by the artists from the photographs produced after the project is completed, and subsequently to publish a photo album.

Our project is open to contributions from volunteers who believe they can contribute from all walks of life, models who have no concerns about visibility, and photographers. Please feel free to contact us.
