Gag

A gag is a piece of equipment sometimes used for erotic purposes, typically in sexual bondage and BDSM roleplay. Gags are most often used in conjunction with BDSM disciplines involving bondage, such as servitude.

Gags can be used for various reasons. Some use them purely for erotic pleasure, others in a domino/submissive relationship. When combined with other physical restraints, wearing a gag can complement helplessness and complete bondage in a BDSM scene. For some, wearing a gag without physical bondage is an act of humiliation.

Most Common Types of Gags

Bit Gag (Gem): This type of gag is commonly used in pony play. It's typically used as a bit/bridle attached to a horse's harness. However, it's also used in other BDSM scenes.
Butterfly Gag: It is called by this name because of its similar shape. It is a type of gag that is placed inside the mouth and inflates inside the mouth with the help of a hand pump connected to a tube, filling the mouth.
