Scene

The term "scene" is derived from theatrical terminology and is used to describe the situation in which a play is performed, with role-playing and role-taking taking place. In BDSM practices, the concept of "scene" refers to a specific interaction between a group of participants. While not a formal concept, it has been adopted as a convenient way to describe the action.

“"That was the hottest whipping scene I've ever seen!"”
“Our final scene really affected me, Sir; I’ve never felt this way before.”

A scene usually has its own momentum: a beginning, a build-up, and a scene's conclusion.

The concept of a stage is often used when there is a group or individuals performing a role and an audience watching. This encompasses acting in front of an audience and the spectators. This is precisely the definition used in theatre.
